Description
An easy-to-grow, useful and attractive evergreen that attracts many insects and animals and has edible fruits. It is usually found in riverine forests and is in the same family as cashew and mango trees (Anacardiaceae).The flowers and fruit attracts insects, birds and mammals and this tree has edible fruit that can be made into jams. It is useful for 'bad blood' causing skin irritations and as a wood and as a dye.
